The Church is aware of the challenges facing newly married couples and the complexities of the relationship between husband and wife. The preparation includes a series of meetings with a priest and attendance at a Pre-Cana conference or the Engaged Encounter Weekend. Couples anticipating marriage should contact the parish about a year in advance of their wedding.
